Tired of MANUALLY adjusts your phone's Ringer Mode and Volumes everyday when you go to work or classes, and adjusts again after leaving?
Ever experienced embarrassing loud rings in the middle of meetings or classes, or missed calls after leaving because you forgot to adjusts the ringer mode?

Say goodbye to these embarrassing situations!

Smart Volume Profile Manager is a locale aware AUTOMATIC volume profile manager that adjusts your Android phone's ringer mode and volumes AUTOMATICALLY based on location (Wi-Fi based only) and time.

For example, set your phone to automatically adjust its ringer to vibrate or silent when you arrive at the office or classroom, and adjust back to normal after leaving (you need to create DEFAULT PROFILES as explained below to have your ringer mode and volumes adjusted back).

You can stop worrying about embarrassing rings in the middle of meetings or classes, and missing calls after work or school.

Smart Volume Profile Manager will automatically activate your predefined phone profiles for you based on the triggering rules you set.

A profile is consisted of a set of triggering rules and settings.

Triggering rules:
- Name(s) of the Wi-Fi network(s) found in range
- Day(s) of the week
- Time span of the day

- Ringer mode [Normal/Vibrate/Silent]
- Ringer volume
- Notification volume
- System volume
- Alarm volume
- Media volume
- Voice call volume

To accommodate most practical use cases and save your battery life, Smart Volume Profile Manager does not use GPS to detect your location.

Profiles are prioritized based on triggering rules' specificity to provide an intuitive and convenient way for solving conflicts. When conditions (location/time) meet two or more profiles' triggering rules, the one that has the highest priority will be selected.

A profile's priority is determined by:
- Number of Wi-Fi network(s) (more Wi-Fi => more specific => higher priority)
- Number of days of week (less days => more specific => higher priority)
- Time span of day (less time => more specific => higher priority)

For example, a profile that specifies 2 Wi-Fi networks, effective 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM, Monday through Friday, is more specific than another one that does not specify Wi-Fi networks, and is effective at all times (12:00 AM - 11:59 PM, Sunday through Saturday).
Thus, when conditions meet both profiles, the first one will be selected because it has higher priority.

By default, the display order of the defined profiles is based on their priorities, so that you can conveniently have a general idea of how they will be applied when there are some overlaps of triggering rules.

It's a good idea to create DEFAULT PROFILES (TIME-BASED ONLY PROFILES) to let Smart Volume Profile Manager take care of your Ringer and Volume related settings anytime anywhere by not specifying any Wi-Fi network(s).
For example, a profile that doesn't specify Wi-Fi network(s), effective every day of week (Su Mo Tu We Th Fr Sa), and from 8:00 AM to 11:59 PM will take care of general daytime Ringer and Volume settings, and another one with similar rules for the nighttime.
When no other more specific profiles (e.g. LOCATION and TIME BASED such as "Office", "School", etc.) are detected, these DEFAULT profiles will always be there to ensure proper ringer settings defined by you.

Smart Volume Profile Manager is simple and easy, essential for your everyday practical needs but not overwhelm you by the daunting long list of settings. Why not use it to make your life just a bit easier?

Q: How do I create profiles which have OVERNIGHT effective times (e.g. 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM)?

A: The prevention of overnight time span setting was purposeful, since it will mess up the day of week setting. As a workaround, you can create two profiles with the SAME RINGER SETTINGS, one for the time span BEFORE MIDNIGHT (e.g. 11:00 PM - 11:59 PM), and another one for the time span AFTER MIDNIGHT (e.g. 12:00 AM - 7:00 AM).

Q: How do I create profiles that are only TIME-BASED (regardless of any Wi-Fi network(s) detected)?

A: Leave the Wi-Fi network(s) section blank: Not specified (anywhere).

Q: Why doesn't the app switch my ringer mode and volume BACK to NORMAL after I left office/classroom? I missed calls and messages due to this!

A: You probably didn't create DEFAULT profiles (TIME-BASED ONLY profiles). Please read the PRIORITIZED PROFILES and DEFAULT PROFILES section to better understand the profile matching mechanism and create appropriate profiles for your needs.

Q: How do I disable TIME-BASED ONLY profiles when Wi-Fi is off? My battery saving app switches Wi-Fi on/off from time to time, and I don't want my DEFAULT profiles to be selected when Wi-Fi is off! (e.g. rings loudly at office/classroom)

A: Go to Settings and check [Pause when Wi-Fi is off].

Q: Why sometimes when my phone screen is OFF, the profiles are not switched ON TIME?

A: Because the app's service is put in pause in those situations. Please check the [Stay awake] option in the Settings menu if this happens frequently. Note: this will affect the battery life significantly.

Q: How do I delete a profile?

A: Touch and hold the profile in the Defined profiles list until the pop-up context menu appears, then select the Delete option from the menu.
